new oil ;dip sticks for 312 eng

some one on our forum said he was making new oil dipsticks,    i sent  him a msg, but forgot who he was, does he ring a bell with anyone?

It is me that has the dipsticks.  I have lots of them and they will fit any Y block with the dipstick tube that is located on the right side of the engine into the timing chain cover.  It will NOT fit the Thunderbird or trucks.   They are top quality,  They were manufactured in India.  I know everyone want's US made items, but try and get any US company to even talk to you!

Just my 2 cents....I personally do NOT have the same issues with India-made stuff as I do made in China-stuff. Example:The boots on my made-in-India ball joints are still in good shape after 3 1/2 years.

I just received one of the dipsticks (Ebay) today and it is very well made, an exact replica of the original dipstick.  My original dipstick suffered a break at top just below the handle and I was able to weld it back together, but had to have a bit of overlap and so the oil level lines were off a bit, so I was glad to get this one to get things back to original.  Great job, Cokefirst!!
