When I was 14 years old, I was amazed at how unintelligent my father was. By the time I turned 21, I was astounded at how much he had learned in the last 7 years!

OUCH!  You've been busy shoveling and plowing.
The last winter I spent there I spent hours out on the street shoveling out my wife's '63 Galaxie Convert. Heavy wet stuff and had to walk around to the yard to dump each shovel. The city plows had made one pass on the street and had pretty much buried her car with snow, slush and ice. I finally got done and went in for coffee and a change of clothes. Then I heard the noise...........the snow plow making another pass. yep, buried it again.

It's supposed to be 84 here tomorrow.........not a typo.
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe

We'll be 66...about double what we were today.
Joe...you know...not supposed to be using that shovel on snow as you become fine wine...LOL!!!    :003:

Be careful in that snow Joe.........I seem to remember a few years back when you broke an ankle or leg in snow. Are you plowing in the Bronco?
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe

CobraJoe

Yes sir, and trust me, after two years of doctors and re-hab, I am extremely careful!

Me too...so careful that I don't mess with it. I let the 18-24 inches we generally get clear itself off with help from the sun. I shoveled my last snow probably 8-9 years ago. Took me well over a week to get my right shoulder to stop screaming curse words  :092:  at me!

Okay, so a while back I had decided I wanted to do the "Shelby Drop" on my '68 but didn't want to drill another set of holes in the shock towers, so, I had ordered a set of SPC upper control arms. They have been sitting on the shelf for about 5 weeks waiting to be installed. For those who aren't familiar with them, they are fully adjustable and offer ±3° Improved Caster as well as Camber settings that can be set to 0°, -1°, or -2° for superior cornering.
yesterday I finally got the Corvette off the lift and was able to get the Torino back on...

Their arms offer three factory setting holes for camber... 0* -1* or -2*

I chose -1* and installed the ball joints and painted them...

They are a lot nicer than the OG arms:

This was my original setup; I never really liked the grey Willwood calipers,

...so I opted to paint them red while I had it apart:

All installed....

...and ride height adjusted:

Test ride seemed much better as far as wheel returning to center and easy turning , so I'm happy. Hopefully I can get it on my buddies alignment machine and get it dialed in.

Well I put it on the trailer and brought it to my buddy's shop so I could do an alignment on it Saturday.

It went pretty easy with the adjustable struts and the Dropped upper control arms; as I was able to get:

CAMBER: -1/2

CASTER: +2*

TOE: 1/16"
