One more up date. After the spindles were out I still could not move the lower arms and the upper just enough to get them (spindles out. I put a junk engine on the front frame and used a 16 ton jack but no movement. I  removed the lower ball joints. The upper arms are out but the lower bolts are damaged and they are not removable. I was able to get one loose but not out.
At this point I am looking at changing out the front! There appears just 3 choices

A mustang 2 front I really hate the look.

A Gasser front with a dropped axle. Maybe OK.

Find decent lower arms and bolts and drill out what is there. ( tough finding parts/hardware)

I need some direction opinions.

Well a good source for a replacement used to be "Fat Mans".  His front clips were well engineered, instructions perfect and the car ended with a great stance.  They have closed shop, you might check with them to see if they have a clip for your car remaining in unclaimed stock.

The MII suspension is a good choice because there are a gazillion aftermarket manufacturers, parts both stock and aftermarket, are readily available.  You have a choice of manual or power rack (90s T-Bird rack eliminates the "twitch") and the ride, braking and handling are really good for normal and slightly spirited driving.

While the stock suspension is a fundamentally sound system it does require some help to make it great.  Borgeson box, great shocks, stiffer sway bar and variable rate springs.  All require "specialty" parts.

Just MHO.

Those lower control arm "bolts"shafts are/were? being reproduced.
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe

The bolts are holding the lower arms in place the front one is boxed in and the back one is a little better but it is con caved. If you look at the lower arms it can be easily be seen.
