So much fun to see the Battlebird against the 3 Litre Healey and the bird has plenty of power and sounds nasty !

the Fairlane comes in at 5:40 min. Enjoy !

I heard the Fairlane has a healthy y-block under the hood, but the information from the internet isn't always true.

it appears that the 57 Battlebird is one of the original 57 race cars, the one equipped with a 430 MEL. details in this video:

A buddy of mine out here was a mechanic at DePaulo in the '50's. He built (assembled) both motors. One was a phase one blown 312, the other was an injected Lincoln. The T-bird guys have a lot of information on the race cars and the supercharged cars. TARTC has invoices for the production cars. (Gate release copies as all the non-race cars were built in Detroit). I drove an "H" code gunmetal "F" code T-bird on the street out here for years. Now I'm working on a red one.
