Jay that was actually quite easy. the shop name Herpolsheimer's was easily legible in the first winter pic. being that this is a rare German name, I thought why not investigate it and soon got to the right name and city. from that it was easy finding period pics of the very same crossroads....

A shot from my hometown in the mid 50's.... big trouble at Greens.. the Woman were causing a Ruckus..... The cops had to show up in the 55 Ford.
