Looking around on my maps in the 2017 Rand McNalley...I am guessing roughly Arkansas? (a little help from the internet too) Maybe around Alma AR? Not sure if that area (which is now I-40) was part of Route 66 or not.

Route 66 did not go thru Arkansas. From roughly the OKC area, it headed north to Tulsa, then Joplin and St Louis.

Thanks Joe. So...at the moment I am in Branson...how far to Carthage? And is there any semblance of that pace still there? Or do you know?
I have time on my hands now that I finally have all my tax annoyances handed in to the accountant...if there is any semblance of it still there...I'd drive up and take a pic of it and post a "NOW" pic.

Okay...might go up...I am sorta stuck here until accountants and bankers get my current and future life in order...taxes and buying a house. I feel like I have lost temporary control of my life! LOL!!!
