I bet !

But.....there were quite some US made cars in Russia back then, which is rarely known today. Once I found a Russian website that was dedicated only to US made cars with Russian (USSR) registration. everything from 1930s Packards to 1950s Corvettes 1960s Ch***s and inbetween. I found that very interesting. site stated that often they were ambassador cars or imported from third countries like Finland aso. probably also Germany/Eastern Germany before the wall came up.

Now, I will have to say it's great to see one of our 57 Fords ( and obviously 7 more, acc to text) in front of Moscow's Kremlin of all places. Who'd have thought .....?!

I had heard that one of the reasons so many American cars were found in Russia (and some other countries) was because the domestic cars of those places were so undependable. Imagine that...a Russian car that has zero dependability! LOL!!!

Some of them might have thought it was like a big luxury car.

Woah! The only '32 Fords that had suicide doors are the 3 Window coupes.  Apparently somebody cut the top off of one :(
