Actually...I have 2 406 tri-powers...and 3 390 blocks...2 of which are complete engines. I also have a set of 7 forged thirty-over pistons (8th was destroyed along with it's rod in another block) and set of forged rods, crank and a solid lifter 406 cam with lifters and push-rods. Get the car...we can have some fun!!!

Even though it was just part of an old roundy-round racer I wanted it too.  Decades ago I found a large partly fenced piece of property nearby that had a lot of cars & parts laying around. There was the body of a '33/'34 coupe that went with the hood.  It looked to be in very good condition. Didn't seem to anyone living there at the time but if there was I was never able to find them.
A few years later I see that '33/'34 bod going down the hill on the back of a flatbed truck. Bummer!
The property had been completely cleared out to make room for a new high school.
That hood was left left laying on the ground at the edge of the property.  Naturally I drug it home like I've done with nearly every other abandoned piece of metal I'd run across.
That hood is kind of a piece of history that's been gone from this town for a long time.
But I've still got my 406 powered '31/'32 Roadster & I'll never let it go!

Dunno...but she sure looks happy about it what ever it was. Can't tell what sheriff's dept it was. I never had a woman grace my patrol car like that! Darn it! LOL!!!
