There was an actual Boss 302 made in 71.  A fellow has collected a bunch of OEM 71 Boss 302 parts, not 69/70 as they won't fit the 69/70 cars, from various Ford dealers.  He has a real 71 Boss 302 that was turned into a "regular" 351C 71 and sold in MI I think.  Can't find the article but all the parts and the car look to be the real deal.

  Used to be of these car washes for the employees on the waterfront to rinse off the dust from the loading barges with wood chips. Anybody could use it though and was quite handy. Got rid of it a few years back probably to conserve water in the wettest part of north america.

Blast from the past! We had one almost identical to that one at Ethyl Corporation, it was used to wash off airborne tetraethyl lead residue after the occasional rupture disc failure. I decided not to stay at that job for very long.

At Dearborn Assmebly, I saw a '71 Boss 302 in the plant as we were doing the changeover to the '71 model. It was a prototype since all Boss production was 351C.

There is a farm in Pierce County WA that has one you must pass through before entering the area where the crops are grown. The farm is certified "organic" and the area where the chickens are kept and crops are grown are all kept clean of outside contaminates.
