     If the red engine is the actual engine in your car, then I'm happy to say that I believe that you
have the later 59 series engine that came in the 46 48 post war cars,  AKA 59 AB.
      My reason for making that statement is that I can clearly see the two water channels leading to the
freeze out plugs between the  oil pan and the side rail.
       A tip for anyone that is reading this and is working on a 59 AB  ...Never use the steel freeze out plugs
because they will rust out and the water will go into your oil pan.   Use copper pennies.  They don't rust out.
