While visiting beautiful Massachusetts I had the pleasure to meet Jay and his fabulous E code 70A business sedan. I guess that is what they call a 'sleeper'... :003:
We took her down to Savory Av on Rt 58. the first divided lanes road in America. what a place to park a 57 under the huge old Pine trees...it was great to meet a guy like you Jay, and an unforgettable experience, thank you !
.
Awesome!! I have a sister who lives not too far from Jay...if I ever get up there to visit her, I hope to meet Jay in person as well. Thanks for posting DJ....your first trip to the northeast U.S.?
yes Rich, first time on the East coast. but not last time... :001:
beautiful, beautiful, BEAUTIFUL !
the man himself and his pride and joy
Guenter
Thanks for the kind words . Your visit was just like having family here.
I also took Guenter on a private paved road (with permission) and did just one hole shot for him. We ran out of road real quick and I downshifted through the gears all the way back into first. The car has a later Ford full synchromesh three speed. Guenter's friend Chris who was travelling with him took made a video of the test run.
You guys do understand that occasionally it becomes very necessary to get rid of the stale gas in the carburetors. Right??
Rich
My offer still stands that when you do come out here to visit your family, I'll take you to Star Drive In and also for some NE seafood and fried clams.

That's right Jeff. I'm out of uniform in that picture. I'm wearing it most of the time though.
Somewhere in the collection of pictures that we took, I have a picture of Guenter wearing one of the Tee shirts that you designed. The question is how did he get that over there in Austria?
Lynn ... Thank you for the nice comment.
will we get to see the video?
Zap- :unitedstates:
Is there a way to post video here?
I just sent an email to Guenter in Austria and asked him to post the video. If anyone can do it, he can.
Computer stuff is too confusing for me. The video is very short and only lasts a few seconds.
Jay, indeed my friend Chris managed to put the video on youtube today.
It's a menace today. always those juvenile delinquents and their wild driving habits... :003:

Thanks for posting the video.
cool
this car moves ! even though Jay was still going easy on the rpms, clutch, trans and rearend. then again, when the stale gas is out of the bowls, it idles nicely and behaves like a m(w)ild street car should. :002:

Jay, your Y Block is music to my ears....
Thanks Jim
There is nothing like the sound of a Y block. To me it sounds like it just wants to get up and go down the road. It's not too loud but just right. When I stop at a light , it lets me know that it's running.
My flathead cars are too quiet.
Dang I love your car Jay.......But I wanna see the HAT....are you gonna force me to post my pic of you in the "Hat".... I Love that hat....

Here's the hat. You didn't say who you wanted to see wearing it. Guenter from Australia is a new honorary Native American. Notice his custom built choker also. Jay
I tried to post a picture of DJ Guenter with my hat, but I couldn't.
Loooks like you will have to use your picture.
Jay.... I got the Pic Of Guenter in the Hat... I think is is from a Nomadic Germanic tribe from Northern Bavaria. Guenther...good pic.. and Love the footage of Jays Killer 57.
Thats a great picture :003:
Gotta love that hat!
Ha....that's yours truly in his native Southern Bavarian Dickies bib Outfit, directly from Down Over, Austria, Europe that is.... :003: :003:
love the hat too, Jay.
and that is my strongest Native face I could put on. will anybody believe us how much fun we had ?
That's the hat in its natural environment. Old Drive Inn's with a Root Beer Float and vintage cars all around :002:
but usually we look like that, when it comes down to old Ford stuff you gotta be serious.... :003:
I LOVE that picture!!!!!!!!!!!
X2 Awesome!
