this car moves ! even though Jay was still going easy on the rpms, clutch, trans and rearend. then again, when the stale gas is out of the bowls, it idles nicely and behaves like a m(w)ild street car should.

    There is nothing like the sound of a Y block.  To me it sounds like it just wants to get up and go down the road.  It's not too loud but just right.   When I stop at a light , it lets me know that it's running.
     My flathead cars are too quiet.

That's the hat in its natural environment. Old Drive Inn's with a Root Beer Float and vintage cars all around
