Generator pulley for a 57 with Selectaire

OK, I bought a parts car that has Selectaire.  Unfortunately, the generator is missing along with some of the brackets.  The pulley for the generator is a double belt design and if it is the same as my other 1957, it appears to be cast iron, including the fan on the back of the pulley.  This fan on the back is part of the pulley, unlike the single pulley type used on regular passenger cars W/O A/C.  I also need to see a car with factory air so I can see what other parts I need to make this work.  As always, all assistance is appreciated!

it is two shive cast, unfortunately I just sold my spare. I might have steel later replacement if you can't find an original Also, the generator is longer, 7 inches. What I have discovered is the rear bracket on the compressor is one inch wide. Buy one of the $400 generator appearance alternators. I struggled with this for years. The original gen was 50 amp, I have several. The problem is you cannot buy a 50 amp regulator. The minute you turn on the air and anything else you burn up the regulator. good luck

Thanks, I found a NOS one on Ebay but it is VERY pricy.  I love the Power Gen units and will put one of those one.  My other car has some sort of Frankenstein unit.  The interior is perfect 1957 Select air, yet the A/C bracket and compressor (York) is from a 58.  Odd indeed.

Thank you for the response.  Dan

I have several correct compressors with clutches. the issue generally is that the carbon front seal is bad. Hard to find. Don Simpkin may have a known good compressor. I would have to pressure test mine.

Hello Ray,  I am in the market for the compressor.  I took mine to a shop and he said it was not salvageable at all.  Are you willing to part with a good one?  Thanks!

Just found this place and know nothing about it other than he was recommended on another site as having a bunch of old 50-60 Fords and responds to calls, web site looks good.
