Hello Members  Need advice on steps to reassemble outer (bezel)) tailgate  handle to inner release mechanism. Outer has a short stud to connect to inner release mechanism, a link with hole. having trouble getting them connected as they are misaligned.  Have both side star assembles and connecting rods already in place. Tailgate was disassembled when I got it. Thanks for any advice.

Hello  I will answer my own question.  The tie rods to the lock brackets are the last thing to reassemble. The clevis pins and spring clips  on rods  are a PIA to get back in.
