towing a holiday trailer

Most of our trailers are now being supplied with commercial (8 ply) tyres made by Hankook, a manufacturer in South Korea.  Got to say they seem pretty good.  We change our trailer every three years so don't have to worry about the tyres ageing but whenever it's going to be unused for more than a couple of months I take the wheels off and store them in a dark shed.

I once followed a single axle trailer down the freeway and they had a blow out at about 60mph, lost control, the trailer fish-tailed, jack-knifed & turned over, taking the tow car with it.
