World of difference in presentations between the Photoshop Moose did and Kolar's unfinished project. I agree 100% the trim would need to be the 300, which is what I stated in my "dream build" I think Moose's rendition is a perfect adaptation of the cleaner/straighter Custom lines making it more of a sporty convertible version vs. the luxurious version we already have available. Preference of Fairlane over Custom is no different than our preferences  shown by what we already own. JMO
