I having owned Vehicle Appraisers for 40 years, I've seen a lot of cars but I've never seen one of these. Hopely someone who knows how rare this car is will buy it preserve it.

Jeff,is the front end sheet metal all lined up and the gaps set? I ask, as I would like to know the measurement of the gap between the leading edge of the hood, and the panel just below the hood that has the 4 letters on it.
Thanks
John

John, I can get those measurements for you.. but the all black car in the paint shop is the better one.
this cars gaps are good. but not perfect..... I still need an adjustment on that area you ask of.... and the hood on this car is not original to it.. and its its life.. its seems to have "torqued" a bit in the centre.
It fits very well. but seems to have a bulge in the area of the hood ornament...... Saying that.. its a good fit.. just a little off.

Jeff, I have two rust free hoods if you want to compare.

When I was doing gap and fitting, I changed several fenders and hoods but all had the same gap.  I think some of the original stampings weren't the best fitment.  When I made the '65 Thunderbird hood, problem fixed.
