 UPDATE -NOT FOR SALE .  I guess it wasn't meant to be. As much as I hate to do this...
it is better to have and lost than never have one at all.
you guys have been great to me so I am going to offer it here first.
I have copied links to my post that have pictures in it.
I will be upfront and honest about anything on this car.
Most of you know I paid 5k for this car. I think 6k is not out of
the question. If this is not appropriate I will pull the ad.
Things just aren't going as I planed.

That's gotta be depressing having to sell that little gem. Really sorry to hear that..you seemed to be happy with it. I'm sure you gave it a lot of thought before the decision, and I understand family and such first, but cars in as good a shape as yours don't come along that often..especially a driver.
There's absolutly nothing inappropriate in your placing an add for it here..I would have been disapointed if you hadn't given somebody in the market here a shot at it first..thank you. I wouldn't come down a dime on that price, I think it's more than fair

Allthough it is a sunny 20* out , I am driving it today. Brrrrrr good thing the heater works.
Gas just went up to 3.89 a gallon. Still gonna drive it every chance I get.
And there has been only maybe 2 days I didn't since I got it.

All I can say/do is smile!  My kids grew up in my street rod, rain, snow and many nights on Pier 12 NOB Norfolk, VA.  Too many vacation trips, too many rod runs, too many trouble free miles of fun or so it seamed at the time.  Did it make an impression?  Well I guess, the wife said "sell the 36" as the car collection grew, the kids went nuts, "we grew up in that car, all our memories are in that car, don't make Dad sell the 36", so, all I can say is go for it and don't look back!
