I was surprised, went to register the 57 and was told I needed to get a safety inspection first!! 12 dollars later she?s sporting a ( you passed sticker ) ... No inspection required in Michigan or Florida? All states are different? Stopped to check the mail, I put the stock hood back on, thought I?d share.

I noticed the picture of your car on the hauler and looked like it had a hood scoop, just wondering what style you used or is the whole hood fiberglass?

Moroso Fiberglass hood scoop with a lot of steel removed, both fenders are fiberglass, the guy I bought it from said a friend street raced it with a 312 back in the day. My grandson says it?s no fun now, doesn?t look like a rat rod... kids

No, it doesn't. And that's a good thing.

Yes it looks much better with the stock hood.

Thanks for all the comments, my brothers-in-law Mike, who was responsible for the motor and driveline said It?s about time, now it?s starting to look like a 57!! I wanted to build a hot rod but try not to take away the good looks of the original car..
