Hi everybody,
I live in Placerville California, just 3 miles from where John Marshall found the first gold nugget that caused the gold rush of 1849. Just between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe. Gods Country!
Used to live in So Cal. Cruised Whittier boulevard in the 70s before they started closing off all of the streets and ticketing you for farting.
raced at OCIR on Wednesday nights. Too many people now.

Now Birmingham, AL.....born and raised in Pardeevile, WI.........30 years in the Navy all south of the Mason-Dixon line......just too much winter and too high taxes on everything to move back up.  Do visit twice a year, try to catch both days of summer and Christmas with the family.

You have two days of summer up there?  Wow.  I think we have something like 360 days of summer and 5 days of winter here.  I do know there are two temps, hot and hotter.

I am about 40 miles east of Los Angeles in Alta Loma, CA. I am enjoying all the info here and knowing you are from all over the place! I have a 57 Country Sedan, 79C 9 passenger, but missing the third small seat in the way-back. Lots of projects to come to get it right as a "resto-mod cruiser"!

Is there only 1 other Country Sedan on here? mrocketscience in Covina is not far from me, but I haven't seen another Country Sedan driving around yet. I hope to see him cruising around at one of the many events around here.

I also have a 56 T-Bird that has been in the family since 1963...my brother and I are now the caretakers.

This forum is similar to another forum I participate in for drummers...members from all over the world...the internet is pretty cool. Here is my other hobby...
