Do the 57-59 Edsels use the same witdh nine inch as the Fords 57-59? I'm assumuing yes but we all know what happens when you do that.LOL

I think the widths are the same for Edsels and Fords, but the bolt pattern is different on Edsels unless
you get a rear end from an Edsel station wagon. Edsels used 5x5 while Fords and Edsel wagons used
4x4.5 wheel pattern.

 I meant 5x4.5 for the Ford bolt pattern. Mercury also used the larger bolt pattern.

the 1959 edsel uses 5x4.5 wheels.hollander says 58 and 59 ford and edsel rear ends are the same.but the 58 edsel has the 5x5 wheels,except s/w witch is 5x4.5. hope this helps
