A -57 Retractable has been my dreamcar ever since I first saw one in 1976.

I buoght the car in 2005, it was originally a CA car and it was imported to Sweden in the fall of 2004.

I dont know much about the history of my car bur it`s an R-code San Jose built Ford and the licenceframe said "Stith" , Vacaville i belive that was a Chevydealer  in California at the time.

The Liceneplates were black CA-plates stamped "63".

It seems that the car had been sitting for 30+ years when i got it and it`s probably very low milaged.

I have restored the 312/ fordmomatic and everything else of the moving parts otherwise it`s unrestored exept for one repaint long ago, the color-code is "E" so it was all colonial white from the beginning and the blue was added  @  the repaint.

Hope you can read this I`m from Sweden and not very good @ the English language.

Car looks great, and your english is fine. Have you seen many other 57's in sweden? Must really turn some heads over there!!
