Air condtioning ducts ????????

Joe (Amblwagon) found out the slots in the A/C dash are almost three times larger then those in a heat only car so air flow up through them would be restricted.  I feel the stock A/C vent will most likely bolt up OK but you would/could put a couple of vents under the dash as well.  The best thing if you are looking for period correctness is to get an under dash unit and hang it there.  They do re-pop those period correct units, outfit in FL has them.

Joe ignore my last post.  I went back and re-looked, the cut outs in the dash are the same for air and none air cars.  What I thought was smaller slots is actually the defrost duct work shrinking the hole size down.  If you can find a dash vent and fabricate a duct to hook the after market unit up it should work OK.  Just wanted to let you know I screwed that one up and gave you bad scoop.
