Thanks for the warm reception...I will do my best to be a regular here.
First off.I must say this site is KILLER! So much great info and stuff to look at.
I just bought a 57 300...I believe a 57 300 custom tudor..... all black and a very cherry Texas car.
It is safely stored in the Panhandle right now until I can arrange pickup.......(most likely in the upcoming spring)
The car presently has no engine or tranny. The sheetmetal is super cherry and i am stoked.
My plans are to build a bad looking All black runner.

I have been a 57 ford nut ever since I was a kid...here are more pics I collected over the years of what I want to build.....
I am really leaning towards a 390 FE with a 4 speed or maybe a TKO 5 speed.
I really LOVE Y blocks... but the 390 might be a better choice for the long term drive-ability factor...
Any tips,suggestions are GREATLY WELCOME

Yes..Mr Poole lives a few hours away... but I don't think i got the bucks for his beautiful work.... but if ya don't ask.. ya never know!
