chrome

today i got a quote for my 2 chrome pieces on my conv,   the pieces that the boot snaps to,  by a place called  Custon Chrome,  for 400 bucks,  sounds kinda steep to me,   anyone know of other places that do chrome and were satified???thanks    jerry

JERRY, I USE www.customplatingspecialist.com out of BRILLION WI. PH. 920-756-3287 OWNER TERRY MEETZ. YOU KNOW HOW LONG YOU HAVE LOOKED FOR A SET OF THESE MOULDINGS, AND HOW HARD THEY ARE TO FIND. THE LAST THING YOU WANT IS TO TRY AND SAVE A FEW BUCKS AND HAVE SOME ONE RUIN OR LOSE THEM. ALL PLATERS ARE HIGH BECAUSE OF THE COST OF THE CHEMICALS, AND HAND LABOR ON PARTS. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! A LOT OF SHOPS DO NOT PLATE POT METAL.
