I was surfing the web today and popped in on Bud Kolars web site , I remember some of you guys talking about if ford would of made a convertible on the shorter sedan frame,
well it looks like he did it check it out at www.kolars1957fordparts.com

I wish he had more pics of it...especially the area behind the seats...I wonder though if it even has a top/roof at all or if it's just to be a fair weather car when it's completed. Also his photo page on how to "korrectly" repair a rusted '57  I thought was a very strange approach....couldn't figure his reasoning for cutting the body in half including cutting at the windshield post. Rich

Probably because it was like my wagon, cowl. Tank and dog legs completely rusted out.  That is the best way to do it when you have a real rust bucket...besides scrapping it altogether.
