Were there options for brakes on '57 Rancheros??

The reason I ask is because I took the front drums from my Ranchero to get turned and one of the drums is so badly warped that can not be turned and have a safe drum afterwards.  Remembering the previous owner told me he changed the front brakes, I called him to ask about them. He stated that he swaped the original front brakes for bigger ones on a rusted out Ranchero he had.  I tried to find a part number on the drum but all I could make out after the "FOMOCO" was what I believe to be "652".  Any ideas?  I need some new drums but I need to get the right ones.   :-)

How wide are your brake linings 2 1/2 or 3 inch or?

Unfortunately I forgot to measure them while I had them off.  I'll pull one off and measure it this weekend.  Best guess is that they are around 3 inches wide but I'll measure to be sure.
