Awesome piece of artwork, Jeff, really cool. I've already printed out an 8x10 glossy! I'll be anxious to watch your progress on the real thing too.

Ha Ha.thanks fellas!....I have not forgotten the Fairlane bunch either.... just can't post a pic of it yet.....the owner might see it and the folks who commissioned it may get a wee upset.
I kinda feel like that proverbial guy we all know that flashes you pics of a car he says he has.... and you roll your eyes!
I am that guy I guess at the moment. :002:

I am still collecting parts.... but I must tell you....I think of this car every waking minute, and I have a 32 Ford coupe... the coupe is a full roller and I am trying to get done for next summer... BUT This car(the 57) gets me a lot more excited than the coupe.I am sure my 32 friends would string me up at the closest tree for even uttering that!

I am such a sinner.
I have extreme envy for all you kats that are driving your 57's right now.
thanks again folks.

PERFECT! Poverty caps and all on a baseline custom. Couldn't get much sweeter. Now tease us further what are your plans/dreams for drivetrain and interior? And will this be followed by a cutaway?

I'd sure like a copy of that file..thanks for offering..much appreciated.
richardmuise@yahoo.com
Did James get you a copy of the sticker you were asking about? I have a sticker I can scan and post if you need. If you guys are talking about redisigning the sticker..just a suggestion..you might think about adding  this .com site..maybe in a rectangular block along the bottom. Anyway..just a thought.
Also, Jeff, you had mentioned going thru Shamrock, Texas when heading to the south areas...have you seen the old route 66 gas station there that they've restored and are now using for the local chamber of commerce? One of the best I've seen anywhere. For anyone traveling thru Texas on I40, Shamrock is just a few miles from the Oklahoma border, and the gas station is just a quarter mile of the highway on an old section of rt66 (very close to the McDonalds). Definetly worth a pull off the highway for a look.
