top speed 10 mph

    took the 57 out yesterday for the first time since i installed the new fuse box and instrument cluster. odometer get about 1.4 miles to the mile, the speedometer will not go past 10 mph, did see it quiver once or twice, any ideas. old cluster speedometer wouldn't do anything.

When my dash was out I messed around with several speedos, some hardly turned over. I lightly sprayed some pb blaster where the cable goes in, then worked it with a square bit in a nut driver. This would free them up , then a drop or two of light oil. The one in the car won't go past 55, it hangs up on a tab, I had the lens out.  Mark
