oil filter adapter

My adapter is leaking. Doing research, it is not that uncommon however, everyone can seem to get theirs off. I cant. Any way to get this pressed in piece off? motor is still in car. Do I pry it? or cut it? It just will not move. Need some expert advise.

There will be a nut on the outside of the spin on threads or an allan on the inside.

The nut that the filter screws on to? I can take that off. Or is there another one that I cannot see?

That is the one.  It just screws into the block where the old long get my hands and arms cover with oil bolt went to hold the canister in place.
