trying to take out windows,   can't b that hard,    anyone know a easy way?

RICH MUISE

Gerald...been a long time since I took mine out, but if I think I removed the hairpin clip from the regulator roller, then unbolted the lower end of the tracks so they could be gently spread apart letting the glass out of the channel. rotate the glass 90 degrees and up thru the top of the door. Mine is the sedan, but I'm guessing your convertible would be the same. I may have left the glass in the door loose while I removed the channels. The channels in my sedan used a machine screw that was hard to find around here, so I drilled and tapped them out to 1/4-20 so I could replace them with some new s.s. screws.
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe

thanks for all the info guys,   i had it all apart before i read the forum,    its not that hard,    took everything apart,  vent window to replace all the rivits correctly etc,   waiting for the whiskers to come in so i can put them back on the door,  then put the vent window back in,   leave all the adjusting screws loose for final adjustments,  drop the glass back in,  put the roller and clip back together for the travel on the window,  adjust everything and hope it works,    as far as the mechanic book goes,  i just don't understand anything i read,     jerry
