If you are talking about the divider bar, I used to have a pop rivet gun with a small enough nose to get in there and set pop rivets. I lost it and on the last three projects I have been bonding window run channel and divider bar channel. I have used epoxy but now prefer silicone adhesive, On the divider bar, i put a couple of blocking sticks edge ways in the channel with some light tension clamps and let it sit over night. have never had one failure with window run installing it this way. And with silicone adhesive if, god forbid, you should ever have to do this again, you can get the run channel out.

Gerald...I used an appropriate sized transfer punch as a settig tool. (A transfer punch is a straight 'pin' with a sharp cone shaped tit on the end, and sold in sets like a set of drills). I had to sacrifice one punch as the tip of the point was interfering with it's being able to seat the rivet all the way. The conical shape of the point is ideal to round over the rivet. I put the transfer punch in my drill press ..not running...and used it like an arbor press. It worked great.

Cool..I was in tool and die also...something in common. It's kind of an unusual tool for the average person, which is why I explained it. Not sure who, other than a machinist / tool and die maker, would use them although I guess I've used them on many occations at home.
