I looked at the T-Bird wrap around back seat a while back but thought it was too wide, so I didnt pursue it...Wish I had now, that looks cool.  This one is getting a Business coupe style package shelf, so no back seat.
I had a Galaxie console for this one, but changed my mind and stayed with the original bench.  The coolest thing about those Galaxie seats and console, is they look like they were made for the `57.

Potter,
I hear ya, I was just weighing my options, and seeing what other guys have used. The fit is probably why Tom used them in the first place. The winter is long up hear, so I will have plenty of time to figure it out. I gotta say, this sight is filled with talent!
Thanks

Gasman you using the swing away column?

ZAP- :unitedstates:
I'm using a '74 Lincoln column.  It tilts, colapses on impact, horn, cruise, four ways, ignition switch, locking feature, and Ron Francis wiring will plug right in.

The restoration and color change for the wheel and column will be one of my projects that I am looking forward to.

The '64-66 Bird interior is slightly NARROWER than the '57 Ford body!

I've never tested this but I think the '64 Thunderbird bucket seats are the same as '64 Galaxie seats.  The seat extensions are different and the Bird logo is in the upper seat upholstery.

Like Gasman mentions the Tbird interior is a great fit for 49-59 Fords. A friend built a very high end 51 Ford and used a Tbird interior. Car ended up a national winner.
