Took my 57 sedan to Dawsonville,Ga. to the Moonshine Festival. 99 % Fords. I est. about 25, 57 sedans. I thought I was in Ford heaven. Nice people, great cars, and a good time. I recommend it highly.

Did they hand out samples? When I was stationed at Bragg a local boy brought some back from home. Thought I was going to Die! He sipped it like it was iced tea!LOL

Was there a couple of yrs. ago with the 57 Custom. Second the fact that it's FORD country, 57's everywhere. Jim Mitchum there. Thunder Road movie playing the whole time. No samples but I'm sure there was some behind the scenes. Will do it again sometime.

There was a nostalgic Gulf station on main street that sold Tennessee Moonshine and was sold out by 10:00 in the morning. The vendor name was Tennessee Moonshine. There was a perfect black 57 sedan with a 557 cu.in. John Kasse motor in it. Shot gun on the front seat and moonshine in the back seat area and trunk. Dog dish caps and the body was "FLAWLESS"

That sounds like a good one to plan for next year. Not too far from where I used to live, could make a cool side trip when I go visit Mom and Dad.

Whatta you do for an encore ? Maybe a SOHC. One thing I noticed is the mirror on the door, Iv'e never seen one that way.

Maybe that is just a California look. The mirror on the door is the majority of the way I've seen mirrors on Customs & Custom 300's out here. Both Rick's and my Custom 300's have the mirrors on the doors, as did my original 57 Custom 300. I've also seen mirrors mounted on the front fender(s) and on the upper part of the door.
