resizing picture

hi,  i know its been posted before, but don't know where to look,  i tried to post a new picture in the gallery,    and its says picture is to big,  need some help,  the picture i post here is the one i want to use,   jerry

I just posted that last week..but couldn't find it.so here it is again:
Bring up the pic you want to post
right click on it
choose open with "paint"
at the top, click on "image", then click on "resize/skew"
when that opens, the percentage box should be highlighted (it's the top box),. try typing 25, (tab) 25.
that will reduce the pixel count to 25% of what it was. The pic should now be fully visable in the window (probably wasn't when you first opened paint)
If you want to keep the original pic file @ full size, save the new size under a diferent name ("save as") before closing paint. If you just close paint and choose "save changes", it will permanently reduce the pic size.
