This fall on the last day of school, I let my oldest daughter take my '71 442 to school.
It was only a half day and about 4 miles from home. She has driven this car with me in it a few times. This was a loooooong day for me,but it sure made her day.

6Cyl,
Once I get the brake booster, power steering, and sway bars installed, maybe I'll let him drive it to town. I am 220lbs and I have to put all my weight into those brakes, He hasn't got a chance! Lol! :003:

Hyball, I wish you were my Dad! I got a 71' Bronco, with a straight 6 that held about 3 lbs of oil presure! :003:

You can go on 57 FORD.COM and literally see thousands of pictures of 57 fords all model and they are divided up that way. Theres info on paint and  interior. Take a look.

RICH MUISE

not to knock 1957fords.com by any means, but the general pic quality is very low, and very little info to go along. They're great for general reference though....which is what their intended use is I guess. JMHO.

Posted this one before. 1963  The girl in this pic looked a lot hotter 15 & 20+ years later.  Long blonde hair, killer bod ...

Another crappy old pic, same time & place ...

Don't know if this 'auto adjust color' one looks better or worse.
(Stick yer tongue back in yer mouth & fix that alignment problem, woman!  And keep yer ass offa my car!)

Somewhere in downtown Anchorage, also 1963 ...

Found a couple old rust buckets I now wish I'd kept lurking in this pic of my/our first house.  Probably 1972 or '73.
The '57 wagon & next to it & mostly obscured the '55 stick shift T-bird.  I think I sold that Bird for ~ $1500 around then.

Not '57 Fords but I/m gonna throw them in anyway.
These are from the legal drag races that we went to on the same day of the 1st Ranchero pix.  On a very narrow 2 lane country road about 50 miles from here.

what a great thread this turned into. You guys got some cool ole pictures and history.
Tom S neat racing pictures, is that a dirt road they are racing on? I have seen other tracks that were dirt.
And I'm not talking roundy round, they were drag racing on the dirt.
I hear there is a drag strip in Alaska , and the track is heated.

That Gun Fighter car seems to be famous,I have seen that one often posted.

Yep a nice cold winter time car show.
