Paint stripes on Fairlane 500 rear bumper

 Got my rear bumper back from Qualchrome and it is beautiful.
Now have to figure out how to paint the black stripes on the chrome so they don't peel off.
Any ideas?

Ron, I used the black vinyl from a sign shop. Looks great and will last for years. Tom

i used the black stripe tape from a painter supply store

When I bought my car, the chrome had already been done.  So, what's this about black stripes?  I'm not aware of any.  I have a Fairlane 500 two door coupe.

The indented lines in your rear bumber should be black, I used vinyl sign tape. Tom

Thanks.  I guess I've seen a rear bumper many times, but not really SEEN it.
