Power Tour

Hey guys, I am now in Arlington, Tx. I am registered and ready to go on the tour, along with my 17 yr old son in my 61 F100 uni. My dad and sister are riding with us in dad's 63 Falcon convertible. Planning on doing the long haul to Charlotte, NC. Pat Fleischman is supposed to be here tomorrow with his bad supercharged 57 Custom. Hope he gets to hit at least a couple of the stops. ALready have seen a really nice red 57 Fairlane hardtop. He is a frequent longhauler, and the car is bad. It has an FE with a tunnelwedge 2X4 intake and 4 speed...very cool old Ford. I'll get as many pics as my Galaxy Note II can take...

We had a really great day. It was Paxton's 2nd Birthday today on Power Tour! The '57 really got a lot of attention today. Lots of questions about the supercharged Y-Block and '57 Fords in general.

American Racing Wheels did a photo shoot of my car with their model. Neat opportunity.

It was great to see James and his family today. His unibody p.u. Has a real cool look.

We are headed home tomorrow, as we don't want the two youngsters out in the heat for too many days at a time.

I really need to have my Ranch Wagon finished and at these events, because it would really standout and be more family friendly.

Anyone who can join the Tour along the way needs to participate, represent our cars, and have fun.

Pat....are you running your air intake off the cowl vent? I was wondering about that for the 4.6 dohc I may get to work on again some time in the future.

James hope you guys made it in to Birmingham OK. I was going to come down to the Met and try to hook up with you guys but the tropical downpore made me think twice about venturing out. We had close to 4" here, started about 3:30 PM and finished up to a drizzle just after 7 PM! Enjoy the rest of your trip and stay dry!
