Heading to Dawsonville, Ga. last week end in Oct. to the Moonshine Festival. Went last year. There were about 30, 57 Ford sedans. Never seen so many in one place at the same time. All Fords, 100,000 spectators for the weekend. I really enjoyed it.

4banger, I have been thinking about going down, I went down to Dawsonviile a number of times in the 80's and early 90's when Bill Elliott was running so hard. I even bought a special edition 88 Thunderbird from Bill Elliott Ford one of Fifty built. Do you have any information on Motels ? Thanks Tom

I am staying about 30 miles southeast of Dawsonville in Gainesville, Ga. Hilton Garden The hotel's in town are sky high, 200.00 plus. Plus the ones in town are booked. Check the camping area's.

4banger, Where are you located and are you going to drive a 57 to Dawsonville? I think i will drive my 57 Custom. It's 800 miles for me. So I will probably spend one night on the road somewhere. Thanks Tom

Wildhog, I am from New Castle, Pa. I tow the 57 also about 800 miles, to the moonshine and from there to Orlando,Fl for the winter. I go to Old Town twice a week with the 57 and won't be back till May 1 st.

Just returned to our hotel from the moonshine festival in Dawsonville, Ga. They gave out 3 awards and I got one for traveling the furthest, 754 miles. It was a moonshine jug with a plaque on it. Looks cool.. Less 57's this year, about 20. As far as 427 motors go, there was a bunch of them.

I go to Orlando every winter for a few weeks. I will look for you this year. I am arriving on December 27th and staying a couple weeks. I assume you go Wednesday and Saturday?

Boss/Cyclone, As of today Oct.28 , I am in Orlando. I go to OLD TOWN wed. & sat. I will likely be the only red & white 57 there, can't miss it. Just look for the old guy with the FU-Man-Chew
