Rear bumper brackets

Hello. Does anyone know if the center rear bumper bracket is different between the Fairlane 500 and the Custom? The outside ones are different, but the center one looks the same if they are not being viewed together.  The center bracket I have is out too far to fit a Custom bumper on when using the  outer brackets for a Custom. It would cause the bumper to be curved instead of straight. Do I need a different bracket or a large hammer? It doesn't look bent and would have to move quite a ways in to work. Thank you.
