Hey guys, I need some help- looking for 1/24th Police/Highway Patrol cars made by Liberty Classic in about 2002--all are 1957 Ford Customs-in particular, looking for a white one that says Waterloo Township on the door, I am told this is Waterloo Township in Canada; black and white one from Chicago Police, Nebraska Highway Patrol; Tennessee Highway Patrol-
Anyone have one of these they would sell?
Thanks guys!

Strick, There were only 3 of the 1/24th scale police cars made. All black Chicago all black New Orleans and a black and gray North Carolina. The Neb. Ill. Ind. were 1/43 scale 4 doors. I belive what you heard about is a 1/24 scale white sedan delivery made by Liberty Classics. On the door it says South Waterloo Ambulance Service, under that it lists Preston  Galt  Hespeler.
They also made a blue and white sedan delivery police car, they look good displayed togeather.

See picture--here is the 1/24th blk/white Chicago and the blue and white delivery Police- and a red & white 57 conv-these are all made by Liberty Classics. They also made several '57 Randheros-easly found on eBay. Again, in about 2002, they did make a 1/24th 2 dr Custom white Waterloo Township, I have a picture of it but not the car- and the Nebraska etc cars. I am TOLD these were limited to 750 of each. One interesting thing is they have Fairlane 500 bumpers on the rear. My good friend Pat Ford (Dennis Carpenter rep) is in search of any of these.

You are correct a 1/43 later edition is out there-

I have the Nebraska version.  All black with white on the lower half of the doors, with Nebraksa Hipo symbol.

I grew up Nebraska and bought my first '57 Custom 300 tudor when 14 years old.  That same summer, I bought a 4dr sedan for parts.

Strick, I have the waterloo ambulance , and 3 of the custom police cars. The reason I said that was all that were made I used to deliver steel to spec cast in Dyersville Iowa and the manager at the outlet store told me that was all that were made. Now I have something to look for. I know Pat Ford and if I find one I will let him know. Also you can take the 300 bumber off the Ranchero and put it on the Police car. Tom

we receive a ton of useless catalogs addressed to my in-laws all the time. In a ''Historic Rail'' catalog found they have 1/43rd scale Rancheros pretty much what would work with ''O'' scale. $8.95 each , 2 different color combos

White/Green   #R01187B
Yellow/Black   #R01188B

They also have 58 Edsel Citations Convertibles   :burnout:

anyway just threw these in on this thread as it sounds like you guys collect the toys

This has been a long winter in Iowa! Have plenty of time to look at the toy collection since we can't get the cars out! Was a whopping 36 here today, but Monday is to be miserable, HIGH of about 0. Wonder where Al Gore is hiding! Under the covers I assume!

I found the '57 Nebraska car on eBay from Hastings, Ne! It arrived Thursday and I am thrilled!

I have learned the white car is Waterloo Township Canada-and still looking for the Tennessee car!
