Buy it now for $5,500, what would be any use for $5,500?  Body is shot, the heat possibly distorted the frame, I guess someone would buy it for the title?  (I'm not 100% sure how the US title/registration system works though).

If is is something that you are really interested in, ask if it comes with a title and try to get someone on the site to go and look at the Vehicle Identification Number.  Make sure that the title numbers and frame numbers match before spending money on it.   I have seen worse cars than that brought back to life.

If I dragged that back home I think the neighbours would have my sanity questioned and I'd probably be looking at divorce number 2!  :003:

No, I'll let someone braver and richer than me tackle that one.

About 2 years ago there was a burned low mileage F code (supercharged) 57 TBird on Ebay.  I think it sold for less that $4000.  I talked to the owner of Prestige Thunderbirds about the car and he said it was a very risky gamble.

You could buy one a lot cheaper then what it will cost to rebuild that one.....Hmmmmm, why didn't I tell myself that before I built mine.

I know what you mean about neighbors.  They can make your life miserable when you bring home cars that need to be restored.
Anything can be brought back again.

If you had a creative mind, I'm sure you could do something cool with it, all depends what you paid.
