Rich, those white boxes are actually rings of ice. That is how high the water was
recently.
I really like the 2nd picture also.
Taking the pictures on the hill made me nervous. Pull the "E" brake ,put it in gear
and move quickly. All the while hoping it doesn't roll down the hill.

I was on a dirt road also last week. We have just the opposite problem, our river is so dried up I could driven across it

6cyl57, they must not use salt out there. Our roads are horrible with salt.

Packed my lunch and headed to the river, still nothing more then a trickle but the dirt roads were fun. I almost found a flat place to park. I may need to put truck tires on the back next time
