The Fabulous Fords Forever Car Show is the largest Annual Ford enthusiast gathering and Ford car show in the Western United States. With support from the Ford Motor Company and Knott?s Berry Farm, the car show is organized by the Ford Car Club Council. This council consists of 40 plus Ford Car Clubs and over 200 volunteers. Fabulous Fords Forever is free to spectators. For more information or to register your Ford vehicle, visit FabulousFordsForever.com.

57 Fords International is well represented on the Ford Car Club Council that puts on this show.  Every year we have a pretty good representation of 57 Ford cars, wagons, trucks and Rancheos.  Rick Crawford and Bob Lee are both active members of the Council and we could really use some help this year with not only showing your 57's, but in helping on the day of show with parking the 1600+ cars expected.  Parking volunteers get to park their cars before the gates of the show open to admit the other registered show cars.  Our 57 Fords are always parked in the 1949-59 Ford car aisle and if you volunteer to be a parker, you not only get to park together with us, but you also get a continental Breakfast provided by the Ford Car Club Council.

We had a really great show this year, with over 1,700 Fords, Lincolns, Mercury's, Edsel's Mustangs and T-Birds.  I was honored to be able to arrange for the 60's Ford Drag Team member Butch Leal (The California Flash, who drove a 64 Thunderbolt that year and winning at the "Big Go" in Indianapolis.) and Larry Knapp with his Nostalgia Drag SOHC powered "Stampede"  1965 Mustang and Stan Blosk who brought his 1965 altered wheel base 700 ci A/Gas Falcon.  They shared a booth signing autographs with Miss Hurst Linda Vaughn.  Also signing books about them were two other FORD celebrities Parnelli Jones and George Follmer.  Scott Pruett, Henry Ford III and Willie Stroppe rounded out the big names there from FORD.  Rick and I showed our 57's and there were a few more there as well.  My 2008 Shelby GT was selected to display in the "Milestone" area representing the S197 body style of Mustangs.  In the Milestone area there were Mercury's representing 75 years of that marque, Galaxies representing 55 years of that type of Ford and a representative of each body style and series of the 1st 50 years of the Mustang.  Ford also displayed the not yet released 2015 Mustang. Sure would have been nice to have had some of our other 57 Fords International club members there with us.
