I purchased this 63-64 Galaxy steering box in July of last year to replace the worn out original box (with GM column) in my Ranchero. I installed it in September. It was a bolt-in installation and worked great . . . really nice tight steering. Then I bought a Custom 300 with power steering . . . and I had to have power steering in the Ranchero. I just finished installing a rack and pinion kit in the Ranchero and now I have this practically new steering box I don't need. It comes with pitman arm shown in photos, but not the Borgeson u-joint (need it for something else). Attached are a couple of photos of the Galaxy box and one of the purchase receipt. If interested make me a reasonable offer. I'm located in central Oregon

What column did you use it with, and did it clear headers OK? Love to use one of my sets of 406 shorties, but the 57 box- you know

I'm running a 390 FE motor with stock exhaust. It was tight but fit.

The column is a GM column with 48 spline end.

Used a 48 spline 1"  to DD 1" Borgeson u-joint coupler.

Shift is on the floor.
