Ya Ecode I guess most of my attention was on Barbara Eden.I think there was an episode with Lt. Nelson driving a stock car race.

I used to always ask Hayden Rork about Barbra Eden also.
Do you remember the time she did a show on the Andy Taylor Mayberry RFD program?

Ya I think so.We used to watch it daily. We also watched  Mayberry all the time.Good old corny humor. It sure beats most of the crap we have on now days.I canceled my cable a few months back and dont really miss it.We use netflix when we feel like a movie, and I go to my brothers or a bar if I want to watch a sports event.I also figure I need the time and money for that Ranchero in the garage.  Al

I liked that Jeanie show a lot when I was a kid. The title song is killer. still love it. My 7 yr old son likes the show too. decades and generations and even continents of Jeanie fans... :001:

Do you mean to say  that you were able to get I Dream Of Jeanie  over there?
Was it in German or English?

djfordmanjack

yes sure ! I can't remember when I first saw the show but probably early 80s when they used it as cheapo program filler. Never mind, I just liked the comedy style and the actors are cool. I thought it was so funny to see Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman fooling around like this, when at the same time my parents were watching 'Dallas' along with the same actors  :002: Both were German language here, but I never got interested in the latter.
Jeanie is still on TV here! I was whisteling the title song last weekend and my son said 'hey this is the Jeanie song' ( of course he said that in German language  :002:)

I hope that you are teaching your son English now while he is young.  We taught our children German when they were babies and it sure did help them when they studied it later.

yes I do, they also have English starting in 1st class elementary school. in todays and future global world it is extremely important to know several languages. I am so thankful to my English teachers, they were really oldschool, really strict but fair minded.
I just met both of them last month and they exactly knew me by name, 25 yrs later, but I don't know if that is because of my English knowledge :002:  :003:
