Hello to all I hope everybody is as glad as I am the Club is going to stay alive. I have a 70A that I like to make the rear windows stationary . I ordered the rubber and figure out the size of the glass but there must be some kind of bracket to hold the window up. Can anyone tell me what I am looking for or where I might find them. Thank you for any help

I don't have one but I think the 1/4 windows are the same as the windshield and the rear window. In that the glass fits in the pre formed rubber and is installed the same as the windshield.

I believe you are right Gerry.  I am doing the smae thing to mine, and I am near certain that the rubber fits to the frame the same as the front and rear glass.  John Gambill has one of these (70D Biz Sedan), so maybe he can shed some light for us...

I put the rubber on the window and when I set it in the opening with the inside garnish frame the window falls into the body The opening where the window sets is too big

Hi guys there is a bracket that holds the 1/4 window up in place on the 70D.  I don't think you could find any original ones.  I'll get some pictures to you an you can make up something.  You can't see it anyway.  Shoot me a email an I'll try an get it done tomorrow.  gambill@1957ford.com
