Door panels question

I ordered a set of complete door panels and interior for my 70a from SMS Fabrications . Every picture I find shows the top portion of the door panel to be a off white . Most of the seat material has the off white as well . I get my door panels today and the top portion is  silver . I had them email me pictures of the panels to which I still have and they are clearly white at the top . The thing that makes me mad is I ordered this stuff months back and told them I wanted everything before fathers day if they could not do it I would go somewhere else . I also ordered a kit for a 61 Starliner for a friend . They call Monday asking if the car was a convertible or hardtop . I told them no its a 70a 2 dr Post Custom and re email them the pictures they sent me . Are they suppose to be off white or silver ?

LeBaron-Bonney bought ABC's line of 55-61 Ford interiors.

These panels are very nice just not sure the right color combo . Im not old enough to know the difference and rarely c one around here . Jeff im gonna sell the complete interior that is in the 70a ,seat covers ,door panels ,packing shelf, kick panels, sun visors and even have wrap around for the inside of the trunk . Not sure about arm rest pads though the upholstery guy acted goof about being able to save that .

I bought this kit from ABC before they sold out to LeBarron Bonney.   That panel is silver and it matches the seat.  These colors are the exact match to my old panels.   Yes ...they are like the color of duct tape.

Ecode70d  thank you very much for the pics .It appears the panels are correct but the seat material is wrong . My biggest thing is the difference in the two and they kept telling me it was all correct .

If my friend is in town later today, I'll be looking at at least 2 original '57 Customs in a museum...I'll take pics of the interior.
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe

My friend wasn't there, but the two Customs were in view from a window. Unfortunatly they were Custom 300's...upholstery is different....at least the door panels.

The top portion is supposed silver.   I have many original door panels as examples.   The pictures make the material seem light colorerd, but in person they should be light silver.   I think thier kits are the only way to go when resotring a 70A or 70D.  Sure the kits are mega expensive, but they look so correct in those cars and if you do it original it will appeal to everyone and never go out of style.

Just passing on some info I read on the Hamb '52-'59 Ford club.....One of the guys was posting about the LB kits...was very happy with quality, but very unhappy about apparent very low tolerance of UV light. He reported a very noticeable fading after less than 1 year. He strongly recommended covering a vehicle if it was not garaged.
