Griffin, is the best you will get. I sent them my drawings and it was EXACTLY what I wanted. Plus they were cheaper than BE COOL. A few years ago I had them build me one with the same results.

Johns2000:

I had Mattson Radiator build a custom aluminum radiator for my 57.  They are a local So Cal shop and have done real fine work for me on my original radiator (before I upgraded the engine substantially).  They also did my heater core and my gas tank (Gas Tank Renu process).  I've been real satisfied with it, the electric fan and shroud set-up.  I have no problem idling the car at the Labor Day Cruise (Orange County) on 100 degree days.  The fans cycle, keeping the tempurature under control, between 175 and 195 degrees.  The system looks pretty cool, too.

Johns2000,
I don't know which radiator is the best but I do know the worst. I paid alot of money for a CoolCraft Radiator that came apart at the seams in less than six months. I fixed it the first time and then when the other seams started coming apart I called CoolCraft to return it for warranty. They told me they'd have UPS pick it up and that didn't happen. I would call and they'd leave me on hold. I talked to everyone except the janitor and all I got was a run around for four months. I finally got it fixed in Plymouth, Indiana at a radiator shop. DON'T BUY COOLCRAFT.

Griffen is a fine unit.  Check with Summit, they have racing radiators that work very well also, just need to fabricat mounting brackets.

I have a polished Mattson Radiator in mine, with dual elec. fans with a built 351 motor and it keeps it cool and looks a lot nicer then stock if you are going custom. They already have the specs so you don't need to do any measuring if it's going in the stock location.
