Jay's THE man, guys !
He was kind enough to send me a part I didn't even ask for  :003:.... ;)
Well I start wondering if I'll ever understand a word, when we will meet ?
I think we'll use our own language, that even the waitress won't get....except for if she's Bavarian ;)

Jeff Norwell

I keep asking for his 57, He has not sent that part yet.

I helped Jay build that one  :003:

That's right.  Jim is the guilty party who did that conversion..  I hope that you saved the pieces  off the car  I might  want to put it back to as original again.   Jay

Fianlly was able to find and resize the pic of me and Jay's fine 57 on the first divided highway...cool photo, thanks for that Jay.

Cool Photo. A little fuzzy but.....
Are you back home James? I'm curious what part of my home state you were working in.

I was actually working in Westfield, at Barnes ANGB.  It was only an hour and a half or so drive over to Carver.  Too bad it was already 345 when I got there, only had less than an hour of daylight left.  Yeah, it is a cellphone photo with minimal lighting, couldn't be helped.  With good light, my phone takes great pics, when starting to get dark, or inside, not so much.  Gonna get a Note 4 soon, see if it improves.

that pic is way cool. we can see it all, Ford friends, a terrific scenery and Jay's  E code business sedan. that is more than anybody could ask for !

Actually it was very close to dark out and when I took the same picture with my camera, it was all dark when I downloaded it onto the computer so I deleted it.  When I took that picture of James, his camera made everything nice and bright.  These new toys are very confusing to me.   James set it and all I did was push the button.  That visit from James sure was  nice.
This is the other car that James and I took for a drive that night.

  Rich
The car is an old survivor with a stock rebuilt 59Ab flathead and is mostly in as original condition with matching serial no./v.i.n.   Usually the transmission gets changed at some point and that's the end of the matching number and who even cared about that back in the day.   It was owned by one of my customers and I did the repairs and serviced it for him for years.  I always had a struggle with him to leave the car as it is.  He was always  wanted me to change the engine  to a later model Ford and even wanted me at one time to put one of those horrible off shore things into it.  He also wanted me to change the interior to something modern and I refused..  It still has the original mohair with no rips in it.   So this one managed to not get hot rodded.

No Jeff.
It's retired from the moonshine business.  I need to have the History Detectives document that story.
Here it is driving to the the most recent movie in Cohasset last year.  I couldnt drive both cars to the site so they transported the convertible and I followed it in the 40. During the movie I drove the 40.

RICH MUISE

Jay...that's awesome...I didn't know you were a movie star, sir.
